What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 hats — enough for a wedding party or a small crew — with volume tiers that fall steeply across resort seasons and programmes.
How fast will my straw hats arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished hats ship in about 2 weeks. Where an event date is fixed we put the ship date in writing and tell you the artwork cut-off.
What is a straw hat actually made of?
A continuous braid, stitched in a spiral from the crown button outward — and the braid is the quality story. We name the material on every quote: palm and seagrass take weather, raffia rolls and recovers, paper straw is the budget option and is described as exactly that.
Why do wide brims need a wire?
Because a wide brim is a sail. Unwired it waves, flips and never recovers from packing. A wired edge holds the line and can be re-shaped by hand — which matters, because somebody always sits on a hat.
Can you embroider the crown?
No, and nobody honestly can — stitching through a woven braid chews it. Branding lives on the band, on a patch applied to the band, or as an under-brim print. Used well, those read better than a pierced crown ever would.
Will straw hats survive shipping?
Only if the carton is specified for them. Crushed-in-transit is the commonest straw-hat failure, so programme orders ship in crown-safe nested packing with brim support — the box is item one of the spec.
Are straw hats all-weather?
No. Straw is seasonal eventwear — sun first, a shrugged-off shower on the weatherproof braids, and that is the honest limit. If the brief is genuine rain kit, straw is the wrong material and we will say so.
Can one hat serve several events?
Yes — that is the band-swap economics. Standardised blanks with per-event bands or patches turn one stock of good hats into a whole season of branded moments, and it is how resorts run themed summers affordably.
